Literature Shipper

On the Thursday you have volunteered for, you will be doing four main things:

1. Go to the UPS Store to pick up mail.

2. Open any mail with donation checks or invoice payment checks and processing them.

3. Pack and ship paid orders, using a simple QuickBooks report. Typically 2-5 orders.

4. Take the shipments to the US Post Office on Broadway (or any US Post Office on your way home) Thursday.

Usually this takes no more than two hours.

Skills Required

• Learning/working with software applications (QuickBooks Online and Office 365 or current applications).

• Intermediate technology knowledge and willingness to learn and troubleshoot.

• Good oral and written communications skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ownership for project timelines.

• Familiarity with Al-Anon Legacies and principles and an understanding of the links of service.

• Teamwork.
