    2nd Thursday of the month:

    Seattle AIS Board Meetings occur quarterly and generally include the AIS Officers and Coordinators along with the District Representatives (and/or Alt. DRs) for WA Area districts 14-22 (who are board members of Seattle AIS).

    Each Al-Anon Family Group in WA Area districts 14-22 have a vote and are encouraged to send a representative (GR, Alt. GR, ISR, and/or Alt. ISR).

What is AIS?

AIS stands for Al-Anon Information Service. The need for the Greater Seattle AIS, a service organization, was decided in 1968. In 1980, it officially became a non-profit corporation to serve the nine Washington Area Districts: 14-22. The districts decided a cooperative effort to fund an AIS to provide important services for the Al-Anon Family Groups (AFGs) would be more effective than for each district to do so on their own. ​Learn more here.
